Stamp a customer at the counter

The real staff flow: scan the wallet card, add stamps, redeem rewards.

The Stamp screen (Dashboard → Card → Stamp a customer, /dashboard/stamp) is where staff record visits and hand out rewards. In-app it's titled "Stamp a customer".

  1. Open the Stamp screen on the till device or a phone.
  2. Point the camera at the QR code on the customer's Apple or Google Wallet card — it scans automatically.
  3. No camera, or a dead phone? Tap the phone-number field and look the customer up by number instead.
  4. Their name and points / threshold appear.
  5. Add what they bought with the +1, +2 or +3 buttons.
  6. If the reward threshold is met, a "Redeem: [reward]" button appears — tap it to give the reward.
  7. Tap "Next customer" to reset for the next person.

For big orders you can add more than one stamp in a single visit (up to 10), multiplied by your points-per-visit setting.

Staff with the Scanner role land on this screen directly at login and see nothing else — perfect for a shared counter device.

It works the same in visits mode (stamps) and points mode (points per dollar) — the buttons add points either way.
