Digital loyalty card for your hair salon
A free blow-dry at the eighth visit, and no card forgotten at the bottom of a bag.
An example rule : 8 visits = 1 free blow-dry

Fictional shops, shown as examples.
- One scan at the till, hands free during the cut.
- The card stays in the phone between two visits.
- You see who is drifting before she changes salon.
Between the colour that is setting, the dryer that is running and the next client waiting, nobody has time to look for a card. A digital loyalty card for a hair salon lives in the client’s Wallet: one scan at the till, and the visit is counted.
At the counter, three steps
- Step 1 :
The poster by the till or the mirror: they scan while waiting for their turn.
- Step 2 :
After the cut, the hairdresser scans the card at the till.
- Step 3 :
At the eighth visit, the blow-dry is free.
Why a paper card falls short
A slow rhythm, a card that cannot be found
Six weeks separate two visits, and the card has time to reach a drawer.
Hands busy with colour
During a colour or a cut your hands are not free.
Several stylists, one salon
In a salon with several chairs, each stylist takes payment in turn.
The quiet regular
The one who has been coming for years never asks for anything.
Your card, ready in ten minutes
Fourteen days free, no commitment.
Ideas to reward and win back
- A free blow-dry at the eighth visit
- A treatment rather than a discount
- Win back the client whose rhythm is stretching
- A note for her birthday
- A friend brought in, a stamp for each
Questions shop owners ask
The card does not replace your diary, it sits next to your booking tool. On the day of the appointment you scan the card at the till. Nothing to connect, and you keep your booking software exactly as it is.
Put the gesture at the till rather than at the chair: one person goes there. If several team members scan on one phone, “Who is scanning?” shows a badge per person, and the history shows who added each visit.
Most recent smartphones have a Wallet, older ones do not. A client without a Wallet cannot add the digital card. Keep a paper card for her until she changes phone: the digital card is not required to be welcome at your salon.
You set the reward, so you set the cost. If the blow-dry is ten minutes of your time, set it against a client who has come back eight times. Fidz costs €19 excl. VAT a month on Solo, with no per-client fee: judge on your own numbers.
